"We're going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo....YOU can come too, too, too!"

As most of you know, I love going to the zoo or just plain seeing animals! To me they are wonders of God's creation. Each one so different than another. Andy and Becky took us to the St. Louis Zoo and we had a wonderful time. The only thing I won't go into is the reptile house. No surprise there. I have way too many pictures to post, but I will post a "few". (:

There were even a few funny looking "human" animals!!

St. Louis Sightseeing

During the time we spent at Andy and Becky's, Craig and I were able to visit the St. Louis History Museum and the St. Louis Art Museum. They were all located in a large park area that was beautifully landscaped. The zoo and a golf course were also part of the park along with other things I probably didn't realize were even there. There was an interesting silver tree outside the art museum that was cool to see too.

Blue Angels Airshow

The day after I got back from California, Andy and Becky took us to see the Blue Angels putting on their airshow ( Labor Day weekend).

It was extremely hot outside and I got rather warm. The show was most enjoyable. Craig really liked it. He took a lot of great pics and some video. It is amazing and scary to watch some of the pilots flip and flop through the air!

Working Maxwells!

While I was in CA with Emma, Craig helped Andy and Becky with some work at their house. Painting, landscaping, and putting an exhaust fan in the attic were some of the things accomplished. I've included a few pictures of their house. I missed them and although I'll miss Emma and family, was glad to get back to the St. Louis Maxwells and Harry! One nice thing that happened to Andy and Craig was that they could go to the Bristol Nascar Race in Bristol, TN with Andy's friend Justin and Doyle Rossow.

Emma and Grammy

We were only in St. Louis a few days and I flew out to CA to babysit Emma while Matt and Sarah were working. It was the start of a new school year and a new job for Sarah. They had two terrifically busy weeks and they moved from their apartment in Upland to on campus housing at Pomona. I really liked their new place, especially their enclosed back yard. Sarah just started a new job as associate dean of students too.

Sadly, I didn't see much of Sarah or Matt, but Emma and I had a wonderful time getting to know one another better. She certainly is a precious little girl....growing fast.

By the way, Sarah's growing pretty fast too with a baby boy due in early December. How good God is to all of us!
