Kids at our trailer....and sleeping!

We've really enjoyed being able to have the grandkids and of course Sarah and Matt over to our trailer for dinner or just to visit. I thought you'd enjoy some of these pics!

I couldn't resist putting in some more pictures of the kids!!!!

Home in California!

Finally, I'm including some pictures of our KOA park here in Pomona, CA! It is really quite a pretty campground in the middle of LA County Fairplex. There is always something going on it seems. The first day we were here, they had a luau for monthly residents. We were surprised to find some people have lived here for as long as 10 years.

One of the things we love about southern CA and South Carolina is the pleasant winter weather. To me as a Michigander originally, I love all the flowers that bloom year round. Once again I thank God for the beauty that we are able to experience in His creation!

Christmas morning with the Kids!

We were invited over to Visser's for Christmas. What fun to see Emma open her presents. Sarah made a delicious honey baked ham dinner! We were pretty excited for the Costco gift membership she and Matt gave us too. We had a lovely day.

The night before, we attended church with the Vissers. What a blessing to hear Sarah sing "Oh, Holy Night" and give her view of being a new mother as she held Max in her arms.

By the end of the day, everyone was a little tired out....especially
Papa and Max!

Christmas Time 2007

Matt's parents, Terri and Ken Visser, visited new baby Max for a long weekend. We were glad to see them and be able to spend some time with them. Of course Emma was thrilled with all the attention!

We had a tiny Christmas tree with lights in the trailer. Louie seemed to enjoy trying to chew on the branches! Louie is still up to his old tricks. Here he has flattened his little tent house. Sometimes he rolls all over the trailer with it!

Merry Christmas from Louie!

The campground asked that all monthly residents decorate the outside of their trailer for Christmas. The pictures aren't the greatest, but here is what we came up with....the reason Jesus came!

Stained Glass Boxes and a Doll!

One of my projects was to repair a doll that my mother had made Sarah when she was about two years old. I cleaned it and redid the face. We were happy to present it to Emma in memory of Grandma McLeod and Sarah's childhood. They named her Annie and Emma seems to be enjoying her!

Craig has been so thankful to have time to make some stained glass boxes for family and friends. Here are a few of them.

San Diego

This past weekend, Craig and I made a short trip to San Diego. It is only about an hour and a half from Pomona. As we drove along, we couldn't help but once again praise God for the beautiful mountains and sky that surround us. We need to keep looking up to Him!

Our main goal was to attend David Jeremiah's church, Shadow Mountain in El Cajon. I didn't get any pictures of the church (maybe next time) but what a blessing to attend and worship there. I'm so thankful for pastors like him.

We also went to the Wildlife Park in San Diego. It was pretty chilly so the animals weren't as active as we've seen them before. However, we still had a great time....just another example of God's goodness to us in the creation of these unusual critters. I find them so amazing and could spend a long time just watching them.

Maxwell David Visser Arrives!!

November 30, 2006 at 5:37 am, 6 lbs., 13 oz., 19 3/4 inches long---the Lord blessed us with the arrival of Maxwell David Visser.

I thank the Lord for taking care of Sarah during her labor and delivery of little Max. I was able to be there with her through the whole process along with Matt. Papa took care of little Emma and brought her to be introduced to Max later in the afternoon. What a joyous occasion with Max's entrance into this world and this family. God is so good!
